As a provider of temporary workers to the construction and logistics sectors, we recognize our responsibility to implement sustainable practices and reduce emissions associated with our operations.
Recruitment Direct UK Ltd is fully committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050. We understand
the urgency of addressing climate change and will take proactive measures to reduce our greenhouse gas
emissions.
We report our emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, including all three scopes:
Scope 1: Direct emissions from owned or controlled sources.
Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the generation of purchased electricity, heat, or steam.
Scope 3: Indirect emissions that occur in the value chain of the company, including transportation, employee
commuting, and waste disposal.
To reduce our carbon footprint and minimize environmental impact, Recruitment Direct UK Ltd will implement
the following measures:
- Promote remote work: Encourage telecommuting and virtual meetings to reduce employee commuting
emissions. - Optimize transportation: Prioritize the use of low-emission vehicles for company travel and logistics
operations. Explore options for electric or hybrid vehicles. - Energy efficiency: Implement energy-saving measures in office buildings, such as LED lighting, smart
thermostats, and energy-efficient appliances. - Waste reduction: Minimize paper usage through digital document management systems. Implement
recycling programs for office waste and encourage employees to reduce, reuse, and recycle. - Sustainable procurement: Partner with suppliers who prioritize sustainability and offer eco-friendly
products and services.
Recruitment Direct UK Ltd will regularly monitor and report on our carbon emissions and progress towards our
reduction targets. Emissions data will be collected and analysed on a quarterly basis, and an annual Carbon
Reduction Report will be published on our website.
By implementing this Carbon Reduction Plan, Recruitment Direct UK Ltd is taking proactive steps towards
achieving our Net Zero carbon emissions goal. We recognize the importance of sustainability in our operations
